Find a veterinarian near you

Verified veterinary clinics across Indian metros, with a visible verification date on every listing.

Quick answer

Bonbeno lists veterinary clinics across Indian metros with address, contact details, services and hours. Every listing carries a visible verification date. We verify that a clinic exists and what it states about itself. We do not assess clinical quality and the directory does not imply we have.

How this directory works

Listing medical practitioners carries obligations that listing restaurants does not. These rules are not negotiable.

  1. The clinic is the listed entity, not the individual. Clinics have a verifiable address and decay slowly. Individual practitioners move constantly.
  2. Named veterinarians appear only where registration is verifiable against the Veterinary Council of India or a State Veterinary Council. Where it is not, we list the clinic and omit the name.
  3. Every listing shows when it was last verified. A stale medical directory is worse than none, because one dead emergency number destroys trust in every other row.
  4. Emergency and 24-hour status is only set where the clinic states it. A wrong out-of-hours flag can cost an animal its life.
  5. Paid placement is labelled and never mixed into the ordering silently.
In an emergency

Do not rely on a directory listing for opening hours in an emergency. Call ahead. Treat collapse, laboured breathing, a distended abdomen, seizures, suspected poisoning or heat stroke as immediate.

Published city directories

8 cities live, 297 clinics in all, 70 of them publishing 24-hour opening. Every listing carries the date it was last checked. Bonbeno verifies that a clinic exists and what it states about itself, and does not assess clinical quality.

What verified means, and what it does not

Verification here is a narrow, checkable claim. Stating its limits plainly is what makes it worth anything.

  • Verified means the clinic exists and the details match what the clinic itself publishes. Address, contact details, stated services and stated hours are checked against the clinic's own sources.
  • Verified does not mean assessed. Bonbeno does not evaluate clinical quality, outcomes or standard of care, and a listing is never an endorsement or a recommendation of one clinic over another.
  • Verified is dated, not permanent. Every listing shows when it was last checked. Clinics move, change hours and close, so an undated medical directory is worse than none at all.
  • A named veterinarian appears only where registration is verifiable against the Veterinary Council of India or a State Veterinary Council. Where it is not, the clinic is listed and the name is left out rather than guessed at.

How to choose a clinic before you need one

The worst time to pick a vet is during an emergency. Five questions settle it in a single visit while nothing is wrong.

  1. Ask what happens after hours. Whether the clinic covers nights and Sundays itself, refers elsewhere, or does neither, is the single most important thing to know in advance.
  2. Ask what is on site. In-house diagnostics, imaging, hospitalisation and surgical facilities decide whether an emergency is handled there or becomes a second journey across a city.
  3. Ask about the referral network, meaning where the clinic sends cases it does not handle, and how far that is from you.
  4. Ask how records are kept and shared, because a portable history matters enormously the first time you need a specialist.
  5. Register before there is a problem. Being an existing client shortens every emergency, and the first consultation is a cheap way to answer all of the above.

Common questions

Does a Bonbeno listing mean a clinic is good?

No. A listing means the clinic exists and its published details were checked on the date shown. Bonbeno does not assess clinical quality or outcomes, and the directory does not imply that it has. Choosing a vet is your decision and a first consultation is the best way to make it.

Can a clinic pay for a better position in the directory?

Paid placement is labelled Sponsored or Featured Partner, styled distinctly, and never mixed silently into the ordering. Organic ordering is earned on verified data. Nothing paid is presented as though it was earned.

How do I get a clinic listed or corrected?

Send the business name, address, contact details, services and hours through the contact page. Registration details are required before any named veterinarian appears on a listing. Corrections to an existing listing are prioritised over new additions.

Which Indian cities does the directory cover?

Metro directories are in production, starting with Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, and expanding from there. A city appears only once its listings have been verified, because a directory with dead entries is worse than an empty one.
